I am terribly late on blogging...we had a great time, though, hosting some friends from Colorado. They came in on Thursday evening and we did a lot and lounged a lot. Now I am trying to catch up on some housework and of course my business which has been blooming over the weekend. I have a new recruit from Alabama and I am excited to have started my team with such a sharp woman! PTA is in full swing with a budget meeting coming up and open enrollment right behind it. I am finding the hardest part of PTA is getting all of our schedules to jive. We all have different availability and lifestyles. It is challenging to find a day and time when these busy moms, career women, business owners, athletes, wives...can get together.
Not only did we have a fantastic time with friends this weekend, but we also had our family portrait taken. It is convenient that our friend is a photographer. He is so generous to have shared his talent with us.
All in all a terrific weekend. A staycation for us and then in September we will invade their home...
