How long does a Scentsy candle bar last?
Candle bars provide fragrance from 50-80 hours. Each person has their own idea of how strong a scent should be. Humidifiers, fans and open windows may also have an effect on how long the candle bars last.
What type of bulb will my warmers need?

Can Scentsy candle bars be used in non-Scentsy warmers?
Of course you can, but you may not get consistent results. Scentsy wax is specifically formulated to release fragrance warmed in a Scentsy Warmer. It is heated to exactly the right temperature to ensure the fragrance is released but the wax isn't hot enough to burn someone. This is what makes Scentsy products so much safer than traditional candles.
What are Scentsy Candle Bars made of?
A food-grade petroleum-based wax is used to make all Scentsy candle bars. The same kind of wax sprayed on apples at the grocery store to make them look shinier. Scentsy chose this formula because of it's scent-loading ability, firmness and melting point. The wax is safe. There are no chemicals released into he air as the wax liquifies like there are when burning a wicked candle. The wax warms enough to release scents but not hot enough for it to evaporate into the air. You are left with an odorless piece of wax you replace with a new Scentsy candle bar. No wick, no flame, no soot, no chemicals.
What kind of oil is found in Scensty Candle Bars?
Scentsy uses only key fragrance oils, the highest quality oil found before processing.
Do I use the whole bar at once?
Scentsy Candle Bars come in a clamshell of 6 break-apart pieces. Depending on the type of warmer, size of the room and your sense of smell you can use one cube to begin with and add fragrance from there. When the fragrance begins to fade you can add more again or switch it out for a new scent!
Scentsy wax warms to a temperature just above body temperature so although the wax will feel quite warm, it shouldn't burn anyone.
How do I clean out my warmer when the smell fades?
When you want to remove the wax you can put the warmer (after it is cool to the touch) in the freezer for 5-10 minutes and the wax usually pops out. If the warmer is warm and the wax is melted you can either pour it back into it's container or one of your choice. You could also simply absorb it up and wipe it out with a paper towel.
What does Scentsy charge for shipping?Shipping for home, basket or book parties with sales of $150 or more is FREE! The company charges 10% of the total on individual orders. Shipping to Hawaii or Alaska is 10% plus a 20% shipping charge on direct-ship orders.

Can I make my own personal website?
YES! Scentsy consultants may make their own website but all websites must be approved by Scentsy Home Office before they are public. You will have access to policy and procedures once you become a Scentsy Consultant. You will find specific guidelines to follow when creating your site and submitting it to the home office.
Can I sell at fairs and events?
YES! Scentsy Consultants are allowed to sell Scentsy Products at fairs, trade shows, expos and other events. You may either elect to order inventory ahead of time or take orders at the event. The choice is yours. The only rule is one Scentsy Consultant per event. The first one to register and pay for their spot.
Are there any monthly or quarterly sales requirements?
To remain an active consultant you must place a $150 order once per quarter.
Are there any requirements to receive commissions from my team?
In order to receive a commission from a team's sales you must be a Lead Consultant and sell at least $500 personal retail volume per month to qualify. A Lead Consultant is someone who has $500 per month in personal retail volume, $1000 per month in group wholesale volume and one active frontline Scentsy Consultant.
Are we required to pay for any host rewards?
A $5 fee is paid by either the host or the consultant. Often consultants pay this fee as a way of thanking the host.

$99 plus shipping and handling will get your business with Scentsy started. The starter kit comes with all 80+ sample scents, catalogs, business cards, postcard invitations, a binder with information on how to kick-start your business and of course a full-size warmer and some candle bars. Your website is also included for the first 3 months.
